The Local Area

Sidmouth is an ideal base from which to tour some of Devon's sights. It only takes a 5 minute drive to reach Peak Hill with its magnificent views over the town and seascape. The area abounds with lovely walks and strolls over hills into deep receding valleys.

Further away are the delightful open spaces of Dartmoor and Exmoor with their quaint villages hidden amongst ever-changing scenery. Exeter, with its beautiful Cathedral and museums, is just 16 miles away.
