Hereford

A beautiful and historic city, here lives the Mappa Mundi, the oldest map of the world, which lies in the safety of the glorious Hereford Cathedral that is in the heart of this very rural city. Nestled well into the Herefordshire countryside where often one sees tractors driving along the city streets, this is definitely a city for the country dweller.

This beautiful city has much to offer in ways of interest. The beautiful cathedral set in the ancient cathedral precincts. The Waterways Museum, near to the docks, which has recently undergone a huge transformation. There is also a small military museum dedicated to the Gloucester Regiment, which is well worth a visit too.
