Bowness & Windermere

Take a lovely drive along the Lyth Valley road, although quite long, there are some beautiful views before reaching the lake.  Both these towns have manyshops and cafes, particularly Bowness which is home to an ice cream shopwith 32 flavours and the Beatrix Potter   Museum. A drive up to Windermere and you will find Lakeland Limitedwhere you can buy any gifts and enjoy the cafe. You could enjoy a cruise on Windermere.
