Christian Guild hotel to undergo multi-million pound development

Exciting multi-million pound plans to restore and upgrade a historic hotel owned by Methodist Guild Holidays Ltd have been agreed.
The proposals by the company, which trades as Christian Guild, mean Treloyhan Manor Hotel, in St Ives, Cornwall, will receive almost £4million of improvements.
As well as reinstating a number of original features in the Victorian building, it will also be brought up to modern hotel standards to become one of the flagship hotels of Christian Guild’s collection of hotels.
Plans for the former Sir Edward Hain mansion and its grounds were approved by the West Area Planning Sub Committee of Cornwall Council on September 22nd.
The scheme will see the building’s original Victorian conservatory and outdoor terraces reinstated, while new car parking spaces will be created.
